EDGE is partner of IMPROXY, the owner of GECOND, which is the leading Condominium management software platform in Portugal, providing its services to over 50 thousand condo management companies (clients), 200 thousand residents, and with more than 1 million building fractions in the country.

As part of this partnership, EDGE services for EV charging in Condominiums are included in GECOND Condominium management software platform, by providing through GECOND the services of billing and financial clearance of the expenses related with the charging sessions done with EDGE.

EDGE is involved in EV4EU, a project funded by the European Union's Horizon Europe program for research and innovation. EV4EU is coordinated by INESC- ID, with the aim of implementing bottom- up and user- centric Vehicle- to- Everything (V2X) management strategies creating the conditions for electric vehicle mass deployment in cities.

In this project, EDGE is being demonstrated in the Portuguese pilot at EDA’s (Electricidade dos Açores) site, with the goal of testing EV Fleet Management for companies focusing on light passenger transport. With six charging points controlled by EDGE, the site will support a fleet of at least 32 electric vehicles and test Vehicle- to- Everything (V2X) smart control strategies tailored to the needs of companies managing their fleets.

EDGE is integrated with FlexC – Flexible Connections, a pilot project by E- REDES, the main DSO in mainland Portugal for high, medium and low voltage electricity distribution network.

The goal of this pilot project is to increase the power available for EV charging in collective buildings without having to increase the building's maximum available power, by utilizing flexible power management for EV charging leveraging on the advanced features of EDGE.
